FROM ST. CATHERINE'S TO THE COAST: DAHAB

A moderate hike starting in the town of St. Catherine's with climbing Mt. Sinai and visiting the Monastery before setting off West towards the coast. Along the way there are open desert plains and historical sights, sand dunes and sandstone rock formations, canyons, green oases and mountain wadis. It leads straight to the coast at Ras Abu Gallum Protected Area. It involves some long distance walks when riding camels is optional.

A moderate hike starting in the town of St. Catherine's with visiting the Monastery and climbing Mt. Sinai and Mt. Katherine before setting off East towards the coast. Along the way there are open desert plains and historical sights, narrow wadis and hidden green oases. It involves some long distance walks when riding camels is optional, and one steep climb to see the Gulf of Suez, before descending to the canyon of Wadi Isla and the coastal plains et El Tor city.
